1. How Donations Are Used
Gifts to Servants of Our Lord Ministry fund food purchases, transportation, and distribution to partner agencies and families across Eastern Kentucky. Unless you designate your gift for a specific program, it goes to the area of greatest need. Every dollar given provides roughly $30 of food through our partner network.
2. Refunds
Donations are voluntary gifts and are generally non-refundable. That said, we never want to keep money given by mistake. If you entered the wrong amount, gave twice by accident, or did not intend to make a recurring gift, contact us within 90 days and we will refund the transaction in full.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days. If you already received a receipt for a refunded gift, we will email you a correction so you do not claim it on your taxes.
3. Recurring (Monthly) Gifts
Monthly partner gifts are charged on the same day each month until you change or cancel them. You may increase, decrease, pause, or cancel your gift at any time from your giving settings — no phone call or email required.
Cancellations take effect immediately and stop all future charges. We do not refund past monthly gifts by default, but see the refund section above if a charge was made in error. If a card is declined, we will email you so you can update it before the partnership lapses.
4. Receipts & Tax Deductibility
Servants of Our Lord Ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation.
An emailed receipt is sent for every gift. Need a copy? Request all receipts on file for your email address from your giving settings. Annual giving statements are issued for the prior tax year on request.
5. Your Privacy
We never sell, rent, or trade donor information. Your name appears on our public donor list only if you explicitly opt in during checkout. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Questions or Refund Requests
Email info@servantsofourlord.com with your name, the approximate date and amount of the gift, and how we can help. We respond to every donation inquiry within two business days.
