Volunteer for Food Distribution in Clay City, KY
Each month, volunteers gather in Clay City, Kentucky to help distribute food to dozens of partner agencies serving Eastern Appalachian families. If you have a willing heart and a free weekend, we would love to have you alongside us.
What a Distribution Day Looks Like
Distribution days typically run across two days each month. The first day, volunteers unload incoming food, organize pallets, and prepare boxes by agency. The second day, partner agencies arrive to pick up their share, and volunteers help load their vehicles.
The work is hands-on and physical, but the pace is welcoming. First-time volunteers are always paired with someone experienced.
