    Celebrating Freedom, Remembering God's Faithfulness

As our nation prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we give thanks for God's faithfulness and for every partner, volunteer, and family who is part of this ministry in Eastern Kentucky.

Our mission is to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, by meeting the spiritual and material needs of economically deprived individuals living in the Appalachians and surrounding areas.

    Celebrating Freedom, Remembering God's Faithfulness

This Fourth of July is especially meaningful as our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Since 1776, generations of Americans have been blessed with freedoms that should never be taken lightly — the freedom to worship, to serve, to speak, to gather, and to help our neighbors in need.

As we celebrate with flags, fireworks, family gatherings, and patriotic songs, may we also pause to thank God for His mercy and faithfulness over our country. Our nation has faced wars, hardship, division, uncertainty, and change — yet through it all, God has continued to raise up people willing to serve, sacrifice, pray, and care for others.

The 250th anniversary of America is not only a time to look back with gratitude, but also a time to look forward with humility. Our greatest hope is not in government, wealth, or human strength, but in the Lord. May we ask God to guide our leaders, strengthen our families, protect those who serve, and turn our hearts toward Him.

As Christians, we are reminded that true freedom is found in Christ. While we are thankful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, we are even more grateful for the eternal freedom given through Jesus — freedom from sin, fear, and hopelessness.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance."
    — Psalm 33:12 (NKJV)

This Independence Day, may our celebration be filled with thanksgiving, prayer, and renewed commitment to love God and serve others. May God bless America, and may America continue to seek the Lord.

    Scripture Focus

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
    — John 8:32 (ESV)

    Ministry Needs

    Prayer Partners

We invite you to join us in prayer for the food pantries we serve, the faithful volunteers who give of themselves so lovingly, and the families who come in need of food, encouragement, and hope. We pray that each family would not only receive daily provision, but also feel the love, comfort, and faithfulness of God through this ministry. Please also lift up our leaders in prayer, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, direction, and hearts that are always sensitive to His voice and obedient to His will.

    Financial Partners

We thank God for every friend and supporter He has brought alongside this ministry. If the Lord is leading you to give, we invite you to become a monthly financial partner. Every dollar given goes directly to feeding families in Eastern Kentucky, with nothing held back for overhead. In a time of rising costs and growing need, your gift becomes a blessing, an answered prayer, and a reflection of Christ's love in action. All donations are tax-deductible, and we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

    Fuel Partners

Servants of Our Lord Ministry is asking for help with fuel costs as we continue delivering food and supplies to families and relief agencies in Eastern Kentucky. Fuel is one of our largest expenses, and every gift helps us keep trucks on the road and food moving to those who need it most.

Answers to Prayer in Eastern Kentucky

At Servants of Our Lord Ministry, we are blessed to serve families across Eastern Kentucky by delivering food, clothing, toys, and essential supplies that bring both physical relief and spiritual encouragement. In the heart of Appalachia, where challenges are many, these consistent outreaches demonstrate God's love in tangible ways, reminding recipients that they are seen and cared for.

We are often moved by the words of appreciation we hear from those we serve. Many tell us that what we provide is an answer to prayer — a timely provision that helps feed their families, clothe their children, or bring a smile through a simple toy. These stories of gratitude inspire us to continue this Kingdom work, knowing that God is using our efforts to touch lives and point people to Him.

This ministry could not thrive without the faithful support of our partners. Your prayers strengthen us for the journey and the labor. Your financial gifts supply the resources we distribute. And the volunteers who join us in packing, loading, and serving on-site multiply the impact far beyond what we could do alone. Together, we form a beautiful picture of the Church in action, united in purpose and love.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
    — Galatians 6:9
